Tessel

An online furniture and decor store for design-minded shoppers across Europe, with stock, delivery times and returns visible before the basket.

Concept project. Tessel is not a real shop. Products, prices and stock are sample content.

The brief I set myself

Furniture is an expensive, considered purchase, and in my experience furniture shoppers give up over a single missing detail.

The store had to answer the three questions that stop people buying: will it fit, when will it arrive, and what if it doesn't work in my room?

Delivery and returns next to the price
Stock, the delivery window and the 30-day return sit beside the price on every product, not in the footer.
Photos that answer “will it fit?”
Several photos per product in the lists, and a dimensions image with written measurements on the product page.
Shop by room
Living room, bedroom and dining collections, so people browse the way they furnish.
Calm and quick
A light editorial grid and restrained motion keep the focus on the products, and the pages stay fast on a phone.
