The challenge

NEW ARA sells physical water treatment and fuel catalyzers to very different buyers: farmers, hotels, hospitals, shipping fleets and factories. Each of them needs to see their own problem solved, in their own language.

The company started with a static HTML site. It had to become a site the team can update themselves, in English and French now and Arabic next, without breaking the design.

Services in detail

What I did

  1. One page per field

Agriculture, maritime, healthcare and 5 more fields each get their own page, with the applications that matter there. A hotel manager never has to read about irrigation.

  2. Editable, but hard to break

Pages are built from fixed templates with simple form fields for text and images. Every field has a fallback, so a page still looks right before anyone fills it in.

  3. Languages that follow the visitor

English, French and Arabic run on Polylang, with menus and links that stay in the visitor's language. Arabic waits behind a holding page until its content is ready, instead of quietly showing English.

  4. From static to WordPress, design kept

The original static design moved into a Blocksy child theme with its own colour and type tokens, so every new page matches the old ones.
