Concept redesign for a real restaurant, made without a commission and shown with the restaurant's permission.
The brief I set myself
A restaurant site has three jobs: show the food, answer “are you open, and where are you?”, and get the booking.
Everything else is atmosphere, so the photos and type had to feel like the room: warm light, dark wood, plates made for sharing.
What I did
Reserve a table from every screen
The reservation button stays in the header, on every page and every device.
The menu as text, not a PDF
Dishes and prices read easily on a phone, and search engines can read them too.
Hours, address and phone up front
The details people look for most are on the homepage, with directions one tap away.
Atmosphere first
Large photos of the dining room, a quiet serif and a dark palette set the mood before the menu.
